AUCTION - FD-12 - Grateful Dead - Wes Wilson - Avalon Ballroom - 1966 Poster - Good

Offered here is a very rare and early original Grateful Dead concert poster. This is FD-12, also featuring Quicksilver Messenger Service. Here they are together under the great title of "Quick and the Dead". Held at the Avalon Ballroom on June 10-11, 1966. Designed by Wes Wilson. Condition is good, it has been hand colored in some spots, has tape and a single tack hole in each corner, with a tape pull in the upper right corner and horizontal handling bends.

This poster was printed on vellum and measures approximately 14″ x 20.
