Offered here is one of the rarest Grateful Dead handbills ever. This is for an event called the Love Pageant Rally. This rally was to note the passing of laws making LSD illegal. Hundreds gathered in Golden Gate Park section called the Panhandle. The bands were Big Brother & the Holding Co. w/Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead (performing their song Alice D. Millionaire) and Wildflower. Ken Kesey showed up with the Bus. A very important event in the sixties. Very rare Grateful Dead item. A must for any serious Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, LSD Acid Test collections. It measures 8-1/2x14 . The condition is Excellent - single fold across middle.
