AUCTION - Flaming Lips - Fossil '03 - Emek - Recast Resin Poster - Mint

This is arguably one of Emek's most unique efforts. It's a poster that has been cast from a mold that's about 1/2" thick. It was originally created to promote a November 25, 2002 show at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles that featured the Flaming Lips & Beck.
90 of these were originally cast (out of an intended 100), and 15 of those were given to the bands. For some reason, Beck rejected these and demanded that they not be sold.  The other 75 were "recast" to eliminate Beck's name ("THE" appears instead of "BECK" on the recast posters). This piece measures 15 ¾” x 12" and is in mint condition. It has been signed on the front by Emek. This is 40/75. A unique piece of mixed media art!
