This poster up for auction is a one-of-a-kind, artist-numbered and signed Acid Test poster. Here we have Euphoria Marie Foster, daughter of Merry Prankster Paul Foster, who did the original design for this Acid Test poster in 1965. That image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 91, plate 2.4. Euphoria Marie Foster has reimagined the design, adding individualized backgrounds and hand-coloring the gold lettering. This makes for an edition of one hundred (This one is 11/100) unique pieces. The icing on the cake, though, is the all-star list of hand-signed Merry Prankster signatures that are featured here: Ken Babbs, Mountain Girl, Gretchen Fetchen, Roy Sebern, Black Maria, Mike Hagen and, last but not least, Wavy Gravy. Quite a list of seminal Pranksters on perhaps the most iconic Acid Test image of them all. This poster measures 16 15/16" x 22" and is in Near Mint condition.
