AUCTION - P.H. Phactor - Oregon 1967 Psychedelic Concert Poster - Condition - Excellent

AUCTION - P.H. Phactor - Oregon 1967 Psychedelic Concert Poster - Condition - Excellent

Here we have a concert poster from Eugene, Oregon. The venue was a place called Billy Shears, a reference to the Sgt. Pepper’s album by the Beatles. headliners were jug band P. H. Phactor, backed up by local faves Hammond Typewriter, whose lead guitarist, R. W. Fuday did the psychedelic artwork. The show dates were in September 1967. One can well imagine that not many of these were printed up in the first place, certainly not compared to Fillmore and Family Dog print runs. This is really a quite rare poster measures 10 3/8” X 13 3/8” and is in excellent condition, with two tiny pinholes, three light corner bends, along with a tiny bit of handling. We’ve never seen one before. There is also another R.W. Fuday piece, also from Billy Shears in Eugene, elsewhere in this auction. Please check it out.
